Homage to design | Exhibition at the Itamaraty Palace in Brasilia

An exhibition at the Itamaraty Palace in Brasilia is currently showcasing objects from 18th to the 20th century which were part of the the Itamaraty Palace's history. The exhibition incorporates the government of Rio de Janeiro as well as the construction of Brasilia.

About 100 pieces of furniture and graphic designs have been curated with the aim to show a good sample of Brazilian Industrial design and manufacturing capabilities. 

The exhibition runs through to 27th May 2018 and exposes the collection for the first time to the general public. Among the highlights of the show is the palatial and convivial furniture of Bernardo Figueiredo. Produced under exclusive license to Schuster Moveis & Design. The collection includes Rio Armchair, Leve Armchair as well as Cristal Centre Table, all available exclusively to Kelly Christian Designs.
